Technical Training

We provide a number of technical workshops to meet the ever-changing needs of the dairy and food industries. These workshops present the most current information with the top educators in the field. Listed below are our current workshops that are either presented regionally or on-site.

OFFICIAL FDA FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual Workshop

This 2 ½ day course uses FDA-recognized and standardized curriculum that gives participants an overview of the concepts of how to create a Food Safety Plan to comply with the Hazard Analysis and Risk-based Preventive Controls for Human Foods rule. This workshop meets FDA requirements for FSMA training.

 

 

Ammonia Maintenance / Safety Workshop

Learn the fundamentals to understanding the basic theory and operation of ammonia refrigeration systems: refrigeration system components, reciprocating, centrifugal and screw compressors; heat transfer equipment, evaporators and condensers; and valves/metering devices.

Financial Management 101 & 102

To help supervisors gain a better understanding of your overall business and how their department affects the bottom line, we partnered with Carl Herbein & Company to develop a program that gives the supervisor the tools to better manage and measure their areas of responsibility.

HACCP

Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point or HACCP is a systematic preventive approach to food safety and pharmaceutical safety that addresses physical, chemical and biological hazards as a means of prevention rather than finished product inspection. 

HACCP - Train the Trainer

Following a one-day HACCP workshop, this 1/2-day session provides you with the tools and techniques for planning, leading and evaluating an effective HACCP workshop for your employees. 

HTST Pasteurization Training

A hands-on advanced workshop covering all aspects of HTST, including process controls, equipment testing, regulatory compliance and the why's of this critical area of dairy processing. 

HTST Pasteurization Training for Maintenance

This workshop is designed to help people in the maintenance department better understand the mechanical functions & potential failures that could occur in an HTST system. 

Laboratory Methods

Participants receive classroom instruction and hands-on experience in a working laboratory. The program focus is on methods and procedures associated with dairy products - the more proficient a lab, the more credibility it receives.

Quality Manufacturing

We provide a variety of quality management materials and counseling to assist customers in maintaining a strong quality program.

Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Training

The SQF program is a fully integrated food safety and quality management protocol designed specifically for the food sector. Through more than 14 years of development, this food industry-specific program applies to all levels of the food supply chain. 

Employee GMP Training

Good Manufacturing Practices is a 2-hour onsite workshop facilitated by our Director of Quality & Food Safety. The workshop is customized to your operation and covers those critical aspects of GMPs.
