Mérieux NutriSciences (formerly Silliker) is the leading internationally accredited provider of food safety and quality services with more than 45 laboratories in 18 countries. Mérieux NutriSciences has grown from a single laboratory founded by Dr. John H. Silliker in 1967 to a global laboratory network staffed by multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.

The Mérieux NutriSciences  Solution Center, the flagship laboratory in North America, is comprised of Mérieux NutriSciences’ Illinois Analytical Laboratory and the research activities of the Food Science Center. The investment in this facility demonstrates Mérieux NutriSciences'  continued commitment to serving the food industry. The state-of-the-art laboratory brings together food scientists, microbiologists and chemists to assist clients in delivering safe and nutritious food to the consumer. The center is the largest operation in the Mérieux NutriSciences  global network and significantly enhances the ability to deliver practical and innovative solutions to companies throughout the food supply chain.
